Job Description
The major part of the job is teaching pupils in groups and individually
in primary and secondary schools. To be eligible to work in schools/colleges you must have proof of an
enhanced CRB check. You can find more information about this on the
CRB website. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

Teaching pupils in groups and individually according to their
educational needs.

Selecting and auditioning pupils.

Ensuring pupils' progress and attendance is monitored and recorded,
providing written reports as and when required by schools.

Offering appropriate advice and guidance to pupils and parents.

Being familiar with new repertoire and teaching methods.
-
Liaising with Heads of Music Departments, School Staff and Ding Dong
Productions Staff.

Assisting with the preparation and tutoring of
pupils, ensembles and groups for concerts and public examinations.
-
Maintaining good order and discipline among the pupils and protecting
their health and safety.

To take responsibility for ensembles including musical arrangements,
directing, and conducting and attendance at concerts when required.
